Join us for a special fiddle tune workshop with Forrest Allen of Deep Thicket Dwellers!

Forrest Allen is an accomplished fiddler and multi-instrumentalist whose playing blends traditional old-time fiddle styles with bluegrass, gypsy jazz, and country influences. As a key member of Deep Thicket Dwellers, a Bay Area band known for their infectious "porch music" sound, Forrest brings years of experience playing festivals, jams, and dance halls throughout California. His patient teaching style and deep knowledge of fiddle repertoire make him an excellent instructor for players of all levels.

We will learn one complete fiddle tune together, from start to finish. The tune will be taught slowly and clearly so everyone can follow along. All levels are welcome, come learn a new fiddle tune and play it together!

All instruments welcome - fiddle, guitar, mandolin, banjo, bass, and more!
